Coverdale community engagement event announced

Following support from several parish councils and discussions with residents, the MANY project would like the opportunity to engage further with the community. To this end, the project is holding two online events for community members:

Thursday 4th February 2021                                                                Wednesday 10th February 2021

    6.00pm – 8.00pm                                                                                       4.00 pm – 6.30pm

Community First Yorkshire, an independent charity that works with North Yorkshire community groups, will host the event, which will take place via Zoom so residents can call in. The event will cover:

  • The project aims
  • An update on the progress of the project
  • Details of how mobile and broadband connectivity will be brought to the North end of Coverdale
  • An opportunity to hear from residents
  • Question and answer session

Fir further information download the Coverdale Community Event invitation which will be coming through the post to all residents.

Get involved

There will be an opportunity for some residents to present their views about why digital connectivity – ultrafast broadband and mobile connections outside the home – would have an impact on life in Coverdale.

If you would like the chance to present your views at the meeting, please see the event booking page for the 4th February and 10th February or call 01904 704177 for further information.

Presentations CAN ONLY be made by those who reside within Coverdale.

If you have poor connectivity.

You can call in using a landline to Zoom events, so please feel free to book for one of the events. However, if you prefer, we can arrange for a project member to give you an update individually.

To arrange this, please call 0300 400 4444 and leave us a message with your contact number and one of our team will give you a call back.
